Kooperatiben Kontseilua and Konfekoop organized the conference ‘Cooperatives on the Left Bank and their impact. The strength of the collective’, a space for reflection promoted together with ‘El Correo’ to analyze the contribution of cooperativism to the economic and social development of the region.
During the meeting, the role of cooperatives as an engine for generating quality employment, social cohesion and territorial development was highlighted. The participants agreed that the cooperative model has demonstrated a great capacity to face economic and social challenges through collaboration, local roots and people’s participation.
Likewise, the contribution of cooperatives to the transformation of the Left Bank was valued, contributing to promote a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive economy. The day concluded with a shared idea: strengthening the culture of cooperation and joint work will be key to continue generating opportunities and well-being in the territory.
